Greenwell Store (ca. 1873)at Kalukalu is a restored 1890s general store that presents the history of the late 19th century farming and ranching community of Kona. Thursdays, bread is baked in the Portuguese Stone Oven in the lower pasture. The Kona Coffee Living History Farm offers a one hour living history tour of an early twentieth century coffee farm. The Kailua Village Walking Tour is a one hour stroll through historic Kailua-Kona.

Special events: Ethnic Food Festivals, jeep tours, special Christmas celebrations, lectures, school tours through the Farm and Store, and outreach exhibits and programs are presented throughout the year as a way to tell the stories of old Kona to children, residents, and visitors.

Membership: Yearly memberships $35 individual, $55 family. Special categories are $100 Partner, $250 Sponsor, $500 Associate, and $1,000 Patron. All members may receive Smithsonian Museum benefits for free or at a reduced rate.
