  Hours: Monday–Friday 9:00 am–4:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am–4:00 pm; closed Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day
Admission: Adult $5, Senior (65 plus) $4, Student 13–17 years $3, Child 6–12 years $1, members and children 5 years and under free
 
   
 
Museum contains exhibits, artifacts, dioramas and murals featuring the people, culture and geological history of Kaua‘i and Ni‘ihau.


 
  Collections: Hawaiiana collection with particular emphasis on items dealing with the island of Kaua‘i; Albert Spencer Wilcox building (1922), designed by noted architect Hart Wood; school art exhibits; ethnic and heritage displays

Programs and tours: permanent, rotating/temporary, and traveling exhibitions; guided and school tours; demonstrations, seminars, outreach to schools and teacher training programs; workshops, classes, films, arts festivals

Special events: May Day Lei Contest, May 1; Living Treasure Awards,
July; Annual Christmas Craft Fair; Quilt Festival

Membership: Individual $25, Family $35, Contributing $75, Sustaining $100, Patron $250 or more, Corporate $500

Facilities: rental facilities, handicap access (call to inquire - may be limited); library, by appointment only; photograph collection dealing with the history of the island of Kaua‘i; exhibit space, gift shop, adjacent picnic/dining area; meeting facilities, capacity approximately 24
