Recently restored, this gracious 1917 house and surrounding gardens are the location for art exhibits, artist studios and a wide range of arts and programs.


 
  Collections: restored historical house, Kaluanui, built in 1917 for Harry and Ethel Baldwin by noted Hawai‘i architect C. W. Dickey; renovated stables, tack rooms and carriage house now serving as art studios; ruins of 1850s sugar mill; landscaped gardens; two- and three-dimensional artworks

Programs and tours: six to eight art exhibitions annually, including traditional, contemporary and conceptual art; annual children’s exhibit and distinguished artists exhibits; guided tours of house and gardens; artist demonstrations; Legends of Art in Paradise—classes in myths of Hawai‘i and their influence on contemporary art; classes and visiting artist workshops in a variety of artistic media; school tours and outreach programs, and teacher training programs

Special events: Art Affair, February—silent auction with fine art and gourmet foods; Christmas House, December –-local handmade crafts, gifts and food; periodic open house with studio tours and live demonstrations by artists
