The Hawaii Children's Discovery Center provides the young and the "young-at-heart" with world-class, interactive learning environments which invite them to explore and discover the world.


 
  Programs and tours: The Discovery Center offers special programs, camps and creative workshops throughout the year; reduced-admission, facilitated tours for schools (reservations required for groups of 20 - 80 children on Tuesday - Friday); weekend birthday parties and more.

Membership: Family Membership (for 2 people): $100; Each Additional Person: $50

Membership benefits include free admission for one year, a newsletter subscription, discounts on select workshops and programs, and 10% discount on gift shop merchandise. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Facilities: Facility and room rentals available for corporate holiday parties, business meetings, family reunions, wedding receptions or other memorable events.

Parking: Ample and free parking is available in the adjacent parking lot at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park.

Public transportation:
- From Waikiki and Ala Moana Shopping Center, take #19 Airport, #20 Airport, #55 Kaneohe, #56/#57 Kailua busses to Ala Moana Boulevard and get off in front of Cutter Mazda Volkswagon on Koula Street. Cross Ala Moana toward Pflueger Acura and follow Ohe Street toward the ocean until you come to a blue and pink concrete building with a smoke stack, which is across from the Kakaako Waterfront Park.

- From Downtown, take #19 Waikiki, #20 Waikiki, #55 Honolulu, #56 Honolulu, and #57 Honolulu to Ala Moana Boulevard and get off at Coral Street. Walk toward Diamond Head in the direction of Pflueger Acura, and make a right onto Ohe Street. Walk toward the ocean until you come to a blue and pink concrete building with a smoke stack, which is across from the Kakaako Waterfront Park.
