Join Daughters of Hawaii and enjoy a day of Hawaiian culture, hula, ono local food and fun at the 41st Annual Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace on Saturday, September 23 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Enjoy local entertainment hosted by Kimo and Leilani Kahoano featuring the Royal Hawaiian Band, Kumu Hula Kahai Topolinski and Halau Ka Pa Hula Hawaii, Jerry Santos, and friends. Shop at the Marketplace for Haku Lei, Jams & Jellies, treasures from Tutu’s Attic, noodles, poke bowls, Gellato and more. Enjoy Hawaiian cultural demonstrations – poi pouding, kapa making, lauhala, and ohe kapala. Visit Queen Emma Summer Palace and view ancient Hawaiian artifacts and learn about the history of the Hawaiian kingdom and monarchy.
