Enjoy an intriguing view of the Hawaiian night sky recreated in unparalleled accuracy displaying 7,000 pin-point stars and brilliant planets. Become fluent in reading the constellations and explore the planets and their locations. Fly through the rings of Saturn or into the heart of the Orion Nebula seeing further than the human ever could. Telescope viewing offered after the program, pending weather conditions.
Please note – Both the observatory and viewing deck experiences depend on weather.
- There is no late seating, please arrive by 7:45 p.m.
- Show length is 1 hour
- The planetarium is fairly cool, may want to bring a light sweater
- We ask parents to consider whether their child can sit through an hour-long planetarium program. If your child is crying or restless during the program please be considerate of others and exit the theater.
- The Stars Tonight evening program is different than the Museum’s daily planetarium programs and The Sky Tonight matinee program.
